American College Towns: Gainesville, Florida
2015 By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Gainesville, Florida offers the perfect mix of outdoor adventures and pleasant, urban sensations. The
city is very close to several parks and protected lands with most nature trails and points of interest
being just a few short miles from the city. Gainesville is also home to the University of Florida, the
nation’s fifth largest university. This makes Gainesville a bonafide college town. To celebrate the
recreational opportunities and wild nature that resides in Gainesville’s backyard, Anderson Design
Group handcrafted this early-1900s themed American Travel art print. This vintage poster features the
University of Florida’s colors, plus an American alligator, an iconic image associated with all things
Florida. Order the print as a canvas banner, metal sign, or framed art print.
