Annapolis, Maryland

About the Art
Annapolis is the capital of the state of Maryland as well as the sailing capital of the world. The city is
rich in history, having been the nation’s capital for a short time. This city was also the site of many
historic events, including the Treaty of Paris, the 1786 Annapolis Convention, the founding of St.
John’s College in 1696, and the first colonial naval battle in North America. A history that extensive
must be preserved, and so our design team at ADG handcrafted this early-1900s American travel poster
art to commemorate one of our nation’s oldest cities. You can order this vintage artwork as a canvas
banner, framed print, metal sign, or framed postcard, or you can conserve wall space with a stack of
notecards instead. To learn more about the city, click on over to the Visit Annapolis
website.
Our gorgeous note cards are made-to-order on high-fidelity printing presses, using sturdy, gallery-grade card stock. Each card is folded, and paired with an envelope. All of our cards feature an original illustration by the talented, award-winning artists of Anderson Design Group.
