Armenia. This is a country as old as time itself. Along with Iran, China, Greece, Egypt, and Japan, Armenia is among the six oldest countries in the world. That is to say that Armenia has maintained and preserved the same traditions and significant aspects of its citizens’ lifestyles for hundreds of years. Armenia was also the first country to adopt Christianity as a state religion. Because of the religious background in this country, there are several ancient, religious buildings that have made the UNESCO World Heritage list. Seeking to capture some of the splendor and wonder of Armenia’s history in two- dimensional art form, Anderson Design Group rendered a vintage travel poster of an ancient Armenian church, styling the artwork after the early-1900s WPA-commissioned artwork.
