Austria: Vienna
2017 By Steven Garcia, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Vienna is not only the capital of Austria, but it is also the only capital city in the world to produce
significant quantities of wine. That is why Vienna is sometimes referred to as the Wine Capital. Vienna
is also known as the World’s Capital of Music, as more famous composers have lived in this city than
in any other city in the world. In this fitting, vintage travel poster, Anderson Design Group handcrafted
retro artwork of yet another characteristic that Vienna is famous for, i.e., its sculptures and statues. This
statue depicts the Archduke Karl, a famous commander who was the first to defeat Napoleon in battle.
You can order this classic design as a framed print, canvas banner, framed postcard, metal sign, or as a
set of notecards or postcards. To learn more, check out the Austrian National
Tourist Office.
