Badlands National Park: Emblem Print
2017 By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Badlands National Park comprises a sweeping formation of eroding buttes, pinnacles, and spires.
It is a land of seemingly endless rock creations which themselves are surrounded and interspersed by
verdant grassland prairies and fields. The rock formations contain the world’s richest deposit of
Oligocene epoch fossil beds, geologic formations thought to be 23 to 35 million years old. Anderson
Design Group handcrafted its own, WPA-style national parks emblem of the Badlands, a vintage
national parks poster that salutes this untouched, peaceful land. The Badlands emblem print is available in a wide variety of formats, making it the perfect gift as a set of notecards, a full-length canvas banner,
or a framed, vintage art piece. To learn more about the Badlands and their history, visit the National Parks Conservation Association.
Our gorgeous art canvases are made-to-order on high-fidelity printers and stretched onto wood frames with hanging brackets installed. Each work of art features an original illustration by the talented, award-winning artists of Anderson Design Group.
