Brazil: Rio de Janeiro Harbor View
2018 By Steven Garcia, Joel Anderson
About the Art
What better way to remember a trip to Rio De Janeiro than with vintage travel poster art depicting the
most famous art deco statue in the world? Christ the Redeemer, or “Cristo Redentor” in Portuguese, is a
colossal statue of Jesus Christ that rests atop the summit of Mount Corcovado. The mountain peak
offers sweeping views of the city of Rio de Janeiro and the surrounding countryside, including the
nearby harbor. Inspired by what must be one of the best views in the world, Anderson Design Group
handcrafted a vintage travel poster, (styled after the art deco fashion), of the Mount Corcovado view of
the city. You can order this retro poster as a framed print, canvas banner, farmed postcard, metal sign,
or as a set of notecards or postcards. To learn more about Rio de Janeiro, check out Visit
Brasil.
