About the Art
Called the Queen City for being the second largest shipping port in the North (after New York City
which would be the “King” in this respect) Buffalo, New York is a major gateway for commerce and
travel across the northeastern United States. Buffalo’s position along major waterways has contributed
to the city’s long history of industry and shipping. The city is also known for its healthcare industries
and higher education opportunities. Anderson Design Group hand-created this illustration of Buffalo,
styling the art piece after the early-20th century illustration styles of the Golden Age of Illustration.
Show your love for Buffalo as your hometown or favorite travel destination with a vintage art print,
