About the Art
Located in West Africa and bordering Mali to the northwest, Niger to the northeast, Benin to the southeast, Togo and Ghana to the south, and the Ivory Coast to the southwest, Burkina Faso is known for its incredible mud architecture in both homes and structures that are centuries old.
Burkina Faso exports some of the most comfortable wool and cotton in the world, a mainstay of the country’s economy for decades. The country is also home to more than 60 unique ethnic groups, giving Burkina Faso a diverse panoply of cultures within its population.
In awe of the country’s ancient architecture and the traditions that preserve such architecture, Anderson Design Group hand-rendered vintage poster art of Burkina Faso. Illustrated in the style of early-20th century poster art, this design is available as a poster, print, banner, notecard, postcard, or metal sign.
