About the Art

Bordering Banff National Park and Kootenay National Park, Yoho National Park was one of the first parks created in Canada. The park was designated in 1886 and became a world heritage site almost a century later, in 1984. The park is known for key attractions like the Burgess Shale archaeological site, Lake Oesa, and endless scenic views, mountain trails, forests of pine, alpine lakes, etc. Inspired by the majestic beauty of the park, Anderson Design Group crafted vintage poster art of the park, hand-styled artwork that heralds the Golden Age of Illustration and the WPA-commissioned works of the mid-20th century. A perfect gift or keepsake from a trip to the park, this illustration is available as a framed print, canvas banner, framed postcard, metal sign, or as a set of notecards or postcards.
