Canyon De Chelly National Monument, Arizona
2018 By Aaron Johnson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Whilst passing through Arizona, one might consider a trip to Canyon De Chelly National Monument.
The reason why these canyons are protected as a National Monument is because the canyons have been
the home of indigenous peoples for nearly 5,000 years. Even to this day, the Navajo Nation work the
land and make their villages among the river beds and canyon floors of the intricate canyon system.
Anderson Design Group handcrafted a vintage travel poster of the National Monument, a somber salute
to the ancestral homes of the Navajo Nation. A fitting keepsake or home decoration item from a trip to
the canyons, you can order this retro artwork as an art print, canvas banner, framed print, framed
postcard, or as a set of notecards or postcards. And to learn about conservation efforts being taken to
preserve the canyons, check out the Student Conservation
Association.
Our gorgeous art canvases are made-to-order on high-fidelity printers and stretched onto wood frames with hanging brackets installed. Each work of art features an original illustration by the talented, award-winning artists of Anderson Design Group.
