Center Hill Dam
2013 By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson
About the Art
For those who love the outdoors, water activities, and impressive feats of engineering, a trip to
Nashville is not complete if it does not include a visit to the Center Hill Dam. This dam serves multiple
purposes. It helps control flood levels for the Cumberland River Basin. It allows for the use of the
Center Hill Lake, which it effectively creates. The dam also generates clean and efficient hydroelectric
power. Inspired by the dam and the positive effect it has on the community, Anderson Design Group
handcrafted sunny, colorful vintage travel poster art of the dam. A great home décor piece and a
reminder of pleasant summer afternoons spent in the Nashville countryside, this retro artwork is
available as a print, banner, canvas, notecard, or postcard.
