Chicago: Magnificent Mile
2010 By Andy Gregg, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Oh Chicago. The Windy City. Known for many things, rich in history, the third largest city in the
country, kissing the shores of Lake Michigan and nestled right into the heart of the Midwest, we can
think of a lot of things when we think of Chicago. One of them is the Magnificent Mile. The
Magnificent Mile is a famous upscale district, a stretch of road near Chicago’s downtown that features
exclusive shops and incredible dining experiences. Reminisce on a fond trip to the “Mag Mile” with
this vintage illustration of the mile. To really make this art special, remember that all of the
illustrations by Anderson Printing are created by hand, giving us the ability to add a flourish of early-
20th century illustration styles to our artwork.
