China: Beijing
2012 By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson
About the Art
The Temple of Heaven is one of Beijing’s most photographed sites. The temple is an iconic depiction
of Ming Dynasty architecture, design, and craftsmanship. The temple was first built in 1420 and has
since been repaired and added onto. The temple is a cultural, historic, and religious icon all in one, a
must-see for visitors to Beijing. Anderson Design Group handcrafted a vintage travel poster of the
temple, a classic illustration of one of the main prayer houses in early-1900s illustration style. You can
purchase this home decor item, keepsake, conversation starter, or gift as an art print, canvas banner,
framed print, or as a set of notecards or postcards. To get international travel information on how best
to visit Beijing and other places in China, be sure to check out the website for the Travel China Guide.
Our gorgeous art canvases are made-to-order on high-fidelity printers and stretched onto wood frames with hanging brackets installed. Each work of art features an original illustration by the talented, award-winning artists of Anderson Design Group.
