Called the Mile High City for its average elevation of just over one mile above sea level, the city of Denver rests in the foothills of the Front Range of the Rocky Mountains. The city is well known as a national and worldwide travel destination for outdoor enthusiasts, as the sweeping metropolis is less than an hour’s drive from the wilds of the Rocky Mountains. Capturing that “near to nature” feeling that Denver is so well known for, Anderson Design Group hand-illustrated this travel poster, featuring the city skyline and the mighty mountain peaks looming just beyond them.
