England: London, Tower Bridge
2014 By Michael Cribbs, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Did you know that the famous London Tower Bridge was the largest bridge of its kind when it was first
built? The bridge was constructed between 1886 and 1894, and it was an unprecedented feat of
engineering and architecture at the time. It took 432 workers, 70,000 tons of concrete, and 11,000 tons
of steel plus eight years of labor to complete the structure. In awe of the bridge and all it represents, our
Anderson Design Group artists fashioned vintage travel poster art of the bridge, a fitting rendition of
the bridge in classical, handcrafted artistic techniques. Customizable by size and style both, you can
order this unique illustration as a framed print, canvas banner, metal sign, canvas, art print, or as a set
of notecards or postcards. To learn more about the bridge and other London attractions, check out Visit
Britain.
