About the Art
You’ve probably seen pictures of this incredibly picturesque place on the internet or social media, the Faroe Islands is a self-governing archipelago, part of the Kingdom of Denmark. The islands are visually stunning, 18 rocky, volcanic islands between Iceland and Norway in the North Atlantic Ocean. The islands are connected by road tunnels, ferries, causeways, and bridges.
A coveted travel destination; hikers and bird-watchers are drawn to the islands’ mountains, valleys, grassy heathland, and steep coastal cliffs that harbor thousands of seabirds. Anderson Design Group has rendered this classic perky puffin design in the tradition of the Golden Age of Poster Art. This retro-styled rendering and vintage poster art will look great as an art print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas. Or purchase the original illustration as a travel art souvenir for a friend who’s been to Faroe Islands (or who would like to go there one day!)
