Florida: Taste The Sunshine!
2012 By Andy Gregg, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Nearly 76,000 Floridians work in citrus growing, a $9 billion annual industry. Florida oranges and
other citrus have been a major factor of Florida’s commerce since the early-1500s when Spanish
Conquistadores planted orange trees near St. Augustine. Today, there is nothing that tastes quite like a
Florida orange. Anderson Design Group handcrafted our own illustration of the orange tree orchards,
styling our illustration after the WPA-commissioned artwork techniques of the early-1900s. Order this
vintage travel poster art as a fond reminder of a trip to Florida, or purchase it as a gift for a family
member or loved one. To learn more about the famous citrus that calls the Sunshine State home, check
out the Visit Florida webpage.
