Franklin: Main Street
2011 Joel Anderson
About the Art
Easily one of the most well-known Main Streets in all of Middle Tennessee, Franklin’s Main Street
certainly does not disappoint. This street has been around since 1799, one of the oldest such streets in
Tennessee. Today the street looks much as it did in 1799, even though two centuries have passed. The
street is chock-full of shops, boutiques, art galleries, book stores, gift shops, cafes, restaurants, and
cultural, historical centers. A leisurely stroll down Franklin’s historic Main Street is a must for any out-
of-town visitor. To celebrate the street, Anderson Design Group handcrafted vintage travel poster art of
Franklin’s Main Street, a retro Nashville art poster styled after turn-of-the-century poster art. Available
as an art print, canvas banner, notecard, postcard, or metal sign, this artwork is a great keepsake and
souvenir from a trip to Franklin. To learn more about Franklin and various attractions within the city,
