Gates of the Arctic National Park: Wolf
2021 By Aaron Johnson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Gates of the Arctic National Park has stayed unchanged for thousands of years except for the
forces of nature. This National Park comprises more than eight million acres of land, making it the
second-largest national park in the country. The vast landscape has no roads or trails and very few
marked locations on topographical maps. True explorers venture into this endless wilderness by bush plane to
experience lands yet untouched by man. To celebrate that magnificent presence of unspoiled nature, Anderson
Design Group hand-illustrated this National Parks poster in the vintage styles of the WPA-
commissioned artwork of the early 1900s. This retro art would make a great addition to a room’s
decor. It can also be reproduced as notecards or postcards to give as gifts. To learn more about this
wilderness of the north, check out the Greatest American Road Trip.
Our gorgeous art canvases are made-to-order on high-fidelity printers and stretched onto wood frames with hanging brackets installed. Each work of art features an original illustration by the talented, award-winning artists of Anderson Design Group.
