About the Art
Munich, a city of history and culture. Often called the “Southern Belle” of Germany, Munich is the capital of Bavaria, the country’s southernmost region. The city is fast becoming a cultural center, having outpaced other major German cities in post-war reconstruction of the region’s original cityscape. Munich stands
today as a gleaming example of what a people united can do, even in the face of opposition. Anderson
Design Group hand-illustrated the Munich World Travel art print to represent that unity by showing the
city’s people conversing and interacting with each other under the gleaming filigree of one of the city’s
restored churches. A focal piece for any room's décor, this poster would make the perfect keepsake for a
traveler's fond memories of Munich.
