About the Art

Middle Tennessee is home to Camp Sycamore Hills, a Girl Scout camp in nearby Cheatham County. Established in 1958, this 742 acre camp is tucked away into the beautiful bluffs and meadows of Ashland City. The summer residential camp is used for camping, day activities, Girl Scout events, and more. The camp also houses an equestrian facility. Some of the activities offered at the camp include archery, bluff rappelling, canoeing, family cook outs, high ropes, horseback riding, equestrian care, obstacle courses, team adventure, tree climbing, and wagon rides. Each year, hundreds of Girl Scouts meet at this camp to learn new skills, to bond with other girls, and to enjoy the beauty of the Tennessee outdoors. Seeking to pay homage to a wonderful organization that helps nurture and care for our country’s youth, Anderson Design Group handcrafted four vintage art posters for the Nashville Girl Scouts and Camp Sycamore Hills. A great way to show your appreciation to the Scout in your family (or a great way to remember your own memories from Scouting!), these art pieces are available as prints, banners, notecards, postcards, canvases, or metal signs. And to learn more about Camp Sycamore Hills, check out the website for the Girl Scouts of Middle Tennessee.
