Glacier Bay National Park: Gliding Orcas
2023 By Arden von Haeger, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Anderson Design Group is always on the lookout for talented artists who embody the style and aesthetic of ADG poster art and vintage art. For this particular design, Anderson Design Group collaborated with master pastel artist Arden von Haeger. Depicted is Glacier Bay National Park, an impressive range of steep mountainscapes, mild rain forests, rugged coastlines, winding fjords, and bulging glaciers. More than three million acres in size and one of the largest parks on the roster, the park has one of the most diverse ecosystems in Alaska, a natural phenomenon caused by ocean currents, prevailing winds, and sky-high mountain peaks. In this original illustration and National Park art, Arden's classic hand-rendered illustration style conveys grandeur, romance, and nuance. His inventive use of color and his unique Art Deco styling deliver a delightful new take on some of America's most iconic destinations. Rendered in the spirit of early 20th-Century travel posters and vintage illustrations, this classic design will look great as a framed print, canvas, metal sign, mini-canvas, or as a postcard or notecard.
