Great Basin National Park
2015 By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Great Basin National Park is a land of diversity. From the very pinnacle of Wheeler Peak at 13,060
feet above sea level to the Mountain View Nature Trail at 6,825 feet, this park has
something for everyone. The park’s fascinating geological formations were formed by retreating
glaciers more than 10,000 years, ago, glaciers that helped to carve out rock formations like the famous
Lexington Arch. Working in an early-1900s style, Anderson Design Group hand-illustrated this
National Parks poster so that visitors to the park could remember their adventure to the Great Basin
with an art centerpiece for their home. Or they can order this National Park design as a set of notecards or
postcards. To learn more about the park, visit the Great
Basin Institute.
