Great Lakes: Lake Superior

Lake Superior truly earned its name! This is the world’s largest freshwater lake by surface area, and the third largest by volume. Further north than any of the other Great Lakes, Lake Superior stays much colder than the other lakes, with the surface temperature rarely rising above 70 degrees Fahrenheit, even during the peak of summer. Inspired by the incredible islands and rock formations that dot the coastline of the lake, Anderson Design Group hand-rendered vintage poster art of the lake, a stunning sunset off the famous Apostle Islands near the shores of Wisconsin.
