Great Smoky Mountains National Park: Cabin
2013 By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson
About the Art
This design depicts the historic Alex Cole Cabin, a single-pen one-story log cabin. Built by Albert Alexander "Alex" Cole, this cabin was originally located across from the Little Pigeon River. After it was chosen to be part of the National Register of Historical Places in the 1970's, the cabin was moved to the Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail. Anderson Design Group has hand-illustrated this vintage American National Park travel poster in the WPA style made famous in the early 1900s.
