Great Smoky Mountains National Park: Firefly Cubs
2017 Joel Anderson
About the Art
The Synchronous fireflies are a unique breed that add a feeling of magic to Great Smoky Mountains
National Park. This is the only firefly breed in America that can synchronize their flashing light
patterns. It is quite the sight to see. Joel Anderson brought that magic, that splendor of nature’s own
illumination to the artist’s table, crafting this National Parks illustration with brush, stylus, and pencil.
The artists of Anderson Design Group have made this illustration into a lovely poster design that will look great as an art print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas.
