Greece: Athens
2012 By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Greece. The birthplace of democracy and a country that played a major role in human history, it is not a
surprise that Greece is home to over a dozen UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The Parthenon, in
Athens, is one of them. Ancient Greece is said to have laid the foundation and groundwork for Western
civilization. Ancient Greece had a powerful influence on the Roman Empire, on European culture, even
on North Africa and West Asia. Anderson Design Group handcrafted a vintage travel poster of the
Parthenon, a 2,465 year-old structure. A perfect keepsake from a trip to Greece or an ideal home decor
item or gift, this retro artwork is available as an art print, canvas banner, framed print, metal sign,
framed postcard, or as a set of notecards or postcards.
