Gulliver's Travels: Jonathan Swift
2024 By Aaron Johnson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
This story has been portrayed and referenced countless times over the centuries in formats for all ages. The story describes the four voyages of the main character, Lemuel Gulliver, a ship's surgeon. The Anglo-Irish author and clergyman Jonathan Swift satirized both human nature and the "travelers tales" literary subgenre. It isn’t his only work but it is Swift's best-known full-length work and a classic of English literature. To celebrate a classic story that still entertains readers to this day, the artists of Anderson Design Group rendered this iconic book cover, vintage poster design, and classic literature art as a part of the Literary Classics Collection, celebrating great books of all genres in 20th-century-inspired art, poster art, and original illustrations. This retro art is available as a poster, print, notecard, postcard, canvas, or metal sign.
