Heidi: Johanna Spyri

One of the best-known works of Swiss literature, Heidi, by Johanna Spyri, is meant to offer compelling stories for children, with meaningful lessons. The book was published in the 1880s and released in two parts, as Heidi: Her Years of Wandering and Learning, and, Heidi: How She Used What She Learned.
