Heublein Tower
2026 By Aaron Johnson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Heublein Tower is a stunning 165-foot-tall architectural tower located in Talcott Mountain State Park in Simsbury, Connecticut. It provides panoramic views of the Hartford skyline, the Farmington River Valley, and surrounding areas that are particularly spectacular in the fall. Gilbert Heublein was a food and beverage magnate, noted as a manufacturer of A1 Steak Sauce and Smirnoff vodka, and founder of the spirits company Heublein, Inc. He was hiking with his fiancée Louise M. Gundlach on Talcott Mountain, and he promised her that one day he would build her a castle there. Today, the Heublein Tower is managed by the State of Connecticut Department of Energy & Environmental Protection. Anderson Design Group rendered a vintage poster and retro design that is styled after the Golden Age of poster art and vintage art. It will look great on any wall as a poster, canvas, metal sign, or as a puzzle, postcard, or notecard.
Our gorgeous art canvases are made-to-order on high-fidelity printers and stretched onto wood frames with hanging brackets installed. Each work of art features an original illustration by the talented, award-winning artists of Anderson Design Group.
