Isle Royale National Park: Sunrise
2022 By David Owens, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Nestled in the northern waters of pristine Lake Superior, the Isle Royale National Park offers peace,
quiet, and freedom from the hustle and bustle of urban civilization. Visitors explore 206 square miles
of rugged forests, sloping hills, beaches, inlets, and hiking trails. Established as a National Park in
1940, the island is any adventurer’s ideal travel destination. Anderson Design Group collaborating artist David Owens captures this peaceful place perfectly in his loose, hand-rendered digital painting fashion. His rich color palettes and emotive style offer a fresh perspective on classic American travel scenes, providing a sense of nostalgia. Available as a poster, print, canvas, notecard, postcard, or metal sign, this artwork makes for a great souvenir or take-home gift from a trip to the park. It functions beautifully as a room's centerpiece or as a postcard sent to a loved one.
