Italy: Florence
2012 By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Did you know that the Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore took over 140 years to complete? And it
wasn’t for lack of support or excitement for the cathedral that made it take so long either. Rather, the
technology to complete the domed roof of the cathedral simply did not exist when the cathedral was
first conceptualized in 1293. But the Florentines started building it anyway! Seeking to pay tribute to
the structure, Anderson Design Group crafted vintage travel poster art of the cathedral, a classic
rendition of the famous building in the art styles of the early-1900s. You can order this retro artwork as
a canvas banner, art print, metal sign, or even as a set of notecards or postcards to save on wall space.

Enjoy our art outdoors by ordering your favorite designs on metal signs. Our all-weather, rust-resistant signs are ideal for any porch, barn, fence, warehouse, garage, or bar. Featuring gorgeous color printing, they offer a more casual look than canvases or framed prints.
