Italy: Venice
2012 By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson
About the Art
The capital of the Veneto Region in Italy, Venice is a breathtaking city built on a series of islands
connected by bridges. There are over 177 canals in Venice that wind their way through 118 different
islands. About 1,500 years old, the city of Venice boasts 417 bridges, some as old as the city itself and
others constructed more recently. Seeking to capture the peaceful tranquility that Venice is known for,
Anderson Design Group crafted a vintage travel poster of a gondolier and his gondola, quietly
navigating a Venetian canal. An excellent centerpiece and keepsake from a trip to Venice, this classic
artwork is available as an art print, canvas banner, framed print, framed postcard, or as a set of
notecards or postcards. To learn more about Italy and great travel opportunities that await, be sure to visit the website for the Italian National Tourist Board.
