About the Art
Beautiful and remote, Jan Mayen is a Norwegian volcanic island in the Arctic Ocean. The island does not have a permanent population, but there are those who visit the island for its natural beauty. The island is partly covered by glaciers around the Beerenberg volcano.
The island has two parts: the larger northeast Nord-Jan and the smaller Sør-Jan, linked by an isthmus. Anderson Design Group rendered this classic polar bear party design in the tradition of the Golden Age of Poster Art. This retro-styled rendering, both a retro illustration and a vintage poster, will look great as an art print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, canvas, or mini canvas. Or gift the original illustration to someone who loves vintage travel art!
