Lake George, NY: Overlook

What could be better than a vacation on the “Queen of American Lakes,” i.e., Lake George located in upstate New York? The lake is a popular tourism destination, a place of scenic beauty, outdoor appeal, lots of water activities, plenty of hiking trails, and peaceful towns nearby. The 45 sq. mi. lake is dotted with islands and protected coves, perfect for a day (or week!) spent on the water. Inspired by the scenic beauty of the lake, Anderson Design Group handcrafted this vintage travel poster art in commemoration of the lake. We drew and colored a pleasant depiction of the region from an elevated hiking lookout, styling the artwork after the turn of the century art design of the Golden Age of Illustration.
