Located in Tulelake, Lava Beds National Monument provides opportunities to learn about California’s tumultuous geological history. Often compared to Lassen Volcanic National Park, Lava Beds preserves a landscape shaped by volcanic eruptions, a rugged topography of diverse lava-formed features.
