Los Angeles: California Dreaming
2016 By Kai Carpenter, Joel Anderson
About the Art
To describe Los Angeles as “magical” would be an understatement. It’s difficult to think of a city
where more dreams are made, where more artistic creativity occurs, and where more excitement lies on
every boulevard and street corner than the City of Angels. To celebrate the special euphoria of this
city, oil painter Kai Carpenter created this mid-1900s painting and appropriately titled it, “California
Dreaming.” A perfect addition to our American Travel series, this vintage poster would make an
excellent centerpiece in any room or office. Show your love for Los Angeles and offer a great
conversation starter all in one with this oil painting as a canvas banner, framed print, metal sign,
unframed canvas, or framed postcard.
