Memphis, Tennessee is known for its barbecue. In fact, Memphis is the pork barbecue capital of the world! Every May, more than 100 restaurants compete in the “Memphis in May's Championship Barbecue Cooking Contest.” Being ourselves lovers of a good barbecue, our illustration team at Anderson Design Group fashioned this hand-drawn illustration to celebrate that famous Memphis tradition. This vintage travel poster is styled after the travel posters of the early-1900s, posters which inspire nostalgia and a romantic appreciation of all of the great travel destinations of America.
