About the Art
One of the best ways to get around downtown Memphis is with a ride on the trolley. Visitors to
Memphis go back in time when they step aboard these restored trolley cars, transportation devices that
have been ferrying people across downtown Memphis since the 1930s. To celebrate the nostalgia that
trolley cars invoke and to tip our hats to Memphis for keeping their history close to their hearts,
Anderson Design Group handcrafted a vintage travel poster of the trolley, hand-illustrated after the
WPA-commissioned artwork of the early-1900s. Order this classic illustration to add to your home
decor and to show your love for Memphis all in one. This retro illustration is available as a print,
canvas, metal sign, or as a set of notecards or postcards.
