Metro Parks: Nashville Greenways
2012 By Andy Gregg, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Nashville is known for its parks, and those include the city’s greenways. These linear parks link
residential communities to schools, businesses, cultural centers, and other parks! The greenways are not
only important as parks, but they are also crucial in that they allow for foot and bicycle traffic to move
across sections of the town without being overly obstructed by the urban sprawl of Nashville. Proud of
this feature of Nashville and our city’s commitment to the greenways, Anderson Design Group
rendered vintage poster art of the Shelby Park pedestrian bridge, a bridge that is part of the greenway
system. Available for purchase as a banner, notecard, postcard, metal sign, framed print, framed
postcard, or canvas, this artwork is not only an excellent home decor piece and conversation starter, but
it is also a great reminder of Nashville’s commitment to its parks.
