Metro Parks: Shelby Park
2011 By Andy Gregg
About the Art
A favorite for thousands of Nashvillians, Shelby Park is a large, multi-use metro park along the
Cumberland River in downtown Nashville. The park offers excellent river views, walking paths, a dog
park, softball fields, golf courses, a boat launch, several picnic areas, and a community center. Seeking
to capture the community nature of the park, Anderson Design Group rendered vintage poster art of
baseball players making good use of the park on a Sunday afternoon. An excellent home decor piece,
conversation starter, or gift, this retro Spirit of Nashville art print is available as a poster, canvas,
notecard, postcard, metal sign, or canvas banner. To learn more about Shelby Park and other metro
parks across the Nashville area, check out Nashville Parks and
Recreation.
