Mexico: Merida
2019 By Steven Garcia, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Nestled in the tropical region of the Mexican Yucatán Peninsula, Mérida is the capital and largest city
of the region. A popular tourist destination, Mérida boasts the best sunshine in Mexico and warm
temperatures year-round. Travelers also visit Mérida for its cultural significance, as the city is thought
to be the cultural center for the Yucatán. Throughout the centuries, the city has combined its unique
Mayan heritage and the history of the Spanish Conquistadores to create a truly unique and incredible
city. To celebrate the city and to pay homage to it in our own, artistic way, our award-winning artists at
Anderson Design Group handcrafted a vintage travel poster of one of the city’s cultural monuments, the
Paseo de Montejo. This retro poster art is available as a framed print, canvas banner, or metal sign. To
