Mount Rainier National Park: Moment in the Meadow
2015 By Kai Carpenter, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Every year about 1.5 million people travel to Washington State to bask in the sun-soaked beauty of
Mount Rainier National Park. Rising as the tallest peak in the Cascade Range, Mount Rainier stands at
14,400 feet above sea level. Twenty-five glaciers weave their way down the arms of the mountain,
eventually forming alpine lakes, pools, streams, and tributaries in the wildflower-coated meadows
below. This original oil painting by Anderson Design Group partner Kai Carpenter is available at the ADG
Store as a framed print, canvas banner, metal sign, framed postcard, or stack of notecards and
postcards. Cherish the mountain and the lands around it with vintage travel art like this, a national
parks poster that is sure to bring color and liveliness to any wall.
