Mythical Creatures: Werewolf (England)
2024 By Aaron Johnson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Stories of werewolves abound across the world and back through time for centuries. Details of the mythical beasts vary, but most agree a werewolf is a creature that can shape-shift from human to wolf and back again, either intentionally or unwillingly due to the arrival of a full moon. Many believe one becomes a werewolf by being bitten by another werewolf, but other accounts say one can become such a beast simply by wearing a belt made of wolfskin, drinking water from the footprint of a werewolf, or by sleeping outside on a summer night with the full moon shining directly on one’s face. Inspired by the ancient stories of these creatures, Anderson Design Group poster artists hand-rendered a vintage-styled poster of the mysterious werewolf legend, crafted in a fashion that’s reminiscent of the golden age of poster art and vintage art. This classic monster design is available as a poster print, canvas, metal sign, mini-canvas, or as a notecard or postcard, including with multiple size options available for the prints, canvases, mini-canvases, and metal signs.
