Nashville Musical Rainbow
2014 Joel Anderson
About the Art
Did you know that Davy Crockett, famous for his fiddle music, was Nashville’s first star musician?
Davy Crockett moved to Nashville in 1811. Since then, other famous musicians like Etta Jones, Duke
Ellington, Johnny Cash, and Jimi Hendrix have graced the streets of Music City. Today, Nashville
music is alive and well, with more performances, solo events, conventions, and festivals than ever
before. Inspired by the art of music and the effect it has had on this city, Anderson Design Group
crafted a rainbow of colors into musical instruments, all fitting on a single, vintage Nashville art print.
This artwork is a perfect addition to the Spirit of Nashville collection, an art collection that seeks to
embody the beauty and splendor of Nashville music. Available as a print, canvas banner, notecard,
postcard, or metal sign, this artwork makes for an excellent gift or take-home souvenir from a trip to
Nashville.
