New York City: Manhattan Bridge
2012 By Michael Korfhage, Joel Anderson
About the Art
The Manhattan Bridge is a famous structure that connects Manhattan to the rest of New York City. The
Manhattan was the last bridge built across the lower East River. Construction began in 1901 and the
bridge was completed in 1912. The bridge services over 450,000 commuters every single day.
Inspired by iconic photographs of the bridge, Anderson Design Group hand-drew this fitting illustration
of the magnificent bridge, perfectly framed as it is by Washington Street buildings. A stylish wall
decoration for the home or office, this vintage travel poster is available as a framed print, canvas
banner, metal sign, framed postcard, or as a handy set of notecards or postcards. Be sure to check out
the New York
Convention and Visitors Bureau for more exciting Big Apple activities and points of
interest!
Our gorgeous art canvases are made-to-order on high-fidelity printers and stretched onto wood frames with hanging brackets installed. Each work of art features an original illustration by the talented, award-winning artists of Anderson Design Group.
