North Cascades National Park
2015 By David Anderson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
North Cascades National Park comprises the northern shoulder of the Pacific Northwest, a 504,000 acre
preserve of some of this region’s most incredible depictions of nature. Though the park is just three
hours north of Seattle, it only receives about 30,000 visitors annually, making it the perfect getaway for
someone who wants to escape the day-to-day grind of human life. The park is comprised of a
mountainous landscape of jagged peaks, blanketing glaciers, untouched forests, and deep alpine lakes.
Anderson Design Group found inspiration in the sweeping landscape views of this mountainous region
and so rendered this early-20th century hand illustration out of that inspiration. Order this national
parks poster art as a cherished keepsake, or gift it to a loved one. And to learn more about this truly
wild park, visit the North
Cascades Institute.
