Providence, Rhode Island
2017 By Aaron Johnson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Founded in 1635, Providence, Rhode Island is one of the oldest cities in New England. The city is
called the Renaissance City for its dedication to the arts and for its rich history. All across the city,
murals decorate the walls of buildings and sculptures form centerpieces in parks, walkways, and water
fountains. Anderson Design Group was compelled to illustrate a vacationing couple being ferried by a
water taxi down one of the city’s rivers. This vintage travel poster art can be purchased as a canvas
banner, framed print, unframed canvas, or metal sign. Decorate your walls and show your love for
Providence all at once, or gift this retro artwork to a friend or family member.
