Rio Grande Wild & Scenic River, Texas
2005 By Aaron Johnson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
The Rio Grande may be one of the most famous rivers in the world, yet it’s also one of the most remote. It winds through a tranquil landscape for 1,855 miles, beginning in south-central Colorado and ending in the Gulf of Mexico. Along the Texas-Mexico border, 196 river miles were designated as a Wild & Scenic River in 1978, giving visitors a chance to travel by water through vast desert expanses and stunning stratified rock canyons. Available as a poster, framed print, notecard, postcard, metal sign, or canvas, this original national park art would look great on any wall.
