Scotland Bag Piper
2015 By Aaron Johnson, Joel Anderson
About the Art
Did you know that Scotland’s national animal is a unicorn? Or that this country has the highest
proportion of redheads in the world? Or that Scotland is home to the world’s largest hedge? Or that the
Scots invented golf? Scotland is certainly a unique nation, made even more special by the iconic
bagpipe music that Scottish musicians are so well-known for. Encouraged by the art of music,
Anderson Design Group crafted vintage travel poster art of a traditional Scottish bagpiper. This retro
artwork was hand-drawn, lettered, and painted in the fashion of early-20th century WPA-commissioned
artwork. Available as an art print, framed print, canvas banner, framed postcard, or as a set of notecards
or postcards, this artwork would make the perfect gift or souvenir from a trip to Scotland. And to learn
more about the country, be sure to check out the website for Visit
